Requirements of the ACCA F1 Course
The ACCA F1 course has different requirements depending on your entry point. Here’s a breakdown:
If you haven’t started the ACCA qualification:
You don’t need any specific qualifications to register for Business and Technology. However, having a good understanding of basic mathematics and English is recommended.
You can enroll directly through ACCA or their Approved Learning Partners (ALPs).
If you’re already on the ACCA qualification pathway:
This new Business and Technology exam replaces F1 and MA1 in the Foundation Level. So, if you passed either of those before September 2023, you won’t need to take Business and Technology.
If you haven’t passed F1 or MA1, you can either take Business and Technology or choose an alternative route through the Foundation Level, like the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification.
You can claim exemption from F1 if you have obtained the ACCA fFoundation Diploma, because you will have already passed them at the diploma level.

Costs of ACCA F1 Examination
The cost of applying for the ACCA F1 exam depends on a few factors, including:
